Ladies Day at Beijing
It was a ladies day in China or so called "shan ba fu nu jie" (38), so Jessica took me along to meet up with her girlfriends Cindy and oh well I forget her name. So we went to this club called Suzzie Wong, very interesting scene, lots of "lao wai" foreigner who are looking for Beijing chicks. Since it's a ladies day so we all entitled to get a free cocktail that taste like "what is that" aren't we ladies deserve a decent cocktail once in a while. So as I was gulping down my anonymous cocktail, i order my usual favorite drinks, Mojito, which is called "Ai Ma" in Beijing, it taste more like " Alamak". Disgust by the drink, I decided to leave it there. Well Jessica help to finish it. I prefer to stick with another anonymous cocktail while enjoying the foreign Indie band who make the crowds go crazy when they sang "yue liang dai biao wu de sing" from the late teressa tang.
After that, it's time for a St. Patrick party that throw by Alex, a friend of Randy who work in U.S. embassy. So no need to elaborate on his nifty apartment. I'm so surprised to see so much white guy that speak perfect mandarin. But again I do agree that there are different treatment from local as long as you are not Asian.

I was surprised to see so many Africans spoke French while riding the Metro; I forgot of course they would speak French, that was Paris. Coming from an English speaking Scotland, and still figuring out my bon jour from bon soir, it was somewhat a culture shock.
I hope you've had better mojito coming back from Beijing; like your "line of the day" ;-)
